About Zak Kratzer
Hey Friends,
I am a Worship Pastor, Writer and Media Producer. I have been passionately serving Jesus since I let Him take charge of my life at the age of 17, when the love of God became real to me while listening to the scriptures. Since then, it’s been my desire to use my passion for creating songs, videos and other things to bring others closer to God.
Since 2006, I have been using my leadership and creativity to serve in various churches and other ministries. I married my wife, Kara in 2015 and started going to Asbury Theological Seminary one year later, where I got a Master of Divinity Degree. And I am currently serving at Calvary Baptist Church in Corbin, Kentucky where you can find me leading worship every week.
Kara and I live in Southeast Kentucky with our two kids. We love nerdy board games, hiking, exploring and all kinds of coffee.

Mission
For me, the mission is pretty straightforward. It's not about clout or relevance for myself but serving God and others faithfully. My talents, experiences and platform were given to me to draw people closer to God and spread His gospel of hope. Whether before crowds or in relationships, it is not my mission, but God's mission working through us by His amazing grace.
"However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me, the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace." Acts 20:24
